Nat King Cole's best known recording of the song is originally from the the album My Fair Lady (1964) recorded to coincide with the release of the movie. The TV show rendition coincides more closeley with the Broadway production of 1956.

MHD, 03/11/2016: Love the list. But realized their was a missing person (well song) "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face," by Mathilde Santing. It gives you that feeling of familiar warmth and has been around for many years, which makes it a standard in MY book.
