"All the Way"

The Joker Is Wild is a 1957 movie starring Frank Sinatra, Jeanne Crain, Mitzi Gaynor, and Eddie Albert that tells the story of nightclub entertainer Joe E. Lewis who was popular from the 1920's through the 1950's.

"All the Way" is introduced by Sinatra playing Lewis who sings the song as part of his act. The song is briefly reprised at the end of the film, after mobsters have cut the entertainer's throat and damaged his vocal chords rendering him unable to sing. The film concludes with" Lewis/Sinatra convincing himself he can still perform as a comedian, while Sinatra/Lewis is heard singing "All the Way" in the background.
