"I've Got a Crush on You"

The original title of the song when used in Treasure Girl (1928) was "Crush on You," though the first line of the refrain reads "I've got a crush on you." By the time the song is used in Strike Up the Band (1930), the title has changed to "I've Got a Crush on You." Robert Kimball in The Complete Lyrics Of Ira Gershwin, 1993, gives the longer version of the line as the title as has virtually every recording of the song since.
