Ross Alexander dictates a letter to his sweetheart. His stenographer is Wini Shaw, who begins the song with Ross. After the sweetheart, Ruby Keeler, receives the letter she reiterates words from his cryptic letter while her girl friends listen. Keeler then does a tap routine with 24-year-old Lee Dixon.
